Major mommy brain moment: I thought that our neighborhood’s Easter Egg Hunt was tomorrow–but it was today. Around 10:30 a.m. I started getting text messages from friends who were already there: You guys are still coming right? Where are you? Mason and I were at home doing laundry, and Chris was taking a nap. But we somehow pulled ourselves together and made it to the park in about 20 minutes.
The plaza was packed but we had lots of fun. The weather was gorgeous–a clear spring day that was sunny but not hot–and there was face painting, music, art projects, and, of course, the hunt. Mason collected two plastic eggs and was much more excited about the actual eggs than what was inside them. Guess I didn’t have to worry about how much candy to let him have, after all. He simply wasn’t interested in eating any of it.
Here are some pics! Happy Easter!

Such cute photos. Makes me miss NYC. Though I’m sitting in our garden looking at Cala Lillies and roses right now….
